Tasty Toasty Cheese
8oz Cheddar cheese
½ a cup of cream
2 eggs
1 tablespoon of butter
A speck of cayenne
1 teaspoon of French mustard
½ teaspoon salt
4 slices of thick bread
Cut up the cheese into small pieces.
Then in a heatproof bowl beat together the eggs. Now add
the cheese, butter cayenne, French mustard, salt and cream.
Position the bowl over a saucepan of gently simmering water
and stir continuously until the cheese melts and all the ingredients
are well combined.
Toast four slices of thick bread on both sides and then spoon
the cheese mixture over the slices of toast. Serve straight
away.
