Cheesey Wedges
4 large potatoes (or 2lbs)
3oz shredded (grated) cheddar cheese
4 tablespoons olive oil
Salt
Preheat oven to 400°F(200°C)
Begin by washing the potatoes and then cutting into wedges,
put the potatoes into a saucepan with boiling water and
a little salt, boil for five minutes. Drain, and leave to
cool a little.
Next, put the wedges into a bowl, sprinkle
with a little salt and add the olive oil, toss until the
wedges are well coated, then put the wedges onto a baking
sheet and bake for approximately twenty minutes.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with shredded
cheddar cheese, bake for a further five minutes or until
a pale golden color.
